The Trail Stewardship grant cycle opens November 15, 2022 and runs through January 31st, 2023.
Applicants may request up $75,000 with a 10 percent required match.
Eligible applicants include:
- Cities
- Counties
- Tribal governments
- School districts
- Recreational clubs and organizations
- State and federal agencies
Project categories include:
- New trail and shared-use path construction
- Rehabilitation and maintenance of trails and shared-use paths, including winter grooming
- Construction and maintenance of trailside and trailhead facilities
This year’s application will be available on the Trail Stewardship Webpage starting Nov. 15th.
On Thursday Nov. 17th at 3pm FWP will be hosting a webinar training and question-and-answer session for this year’s Trail Stewardship Grant Program. The training will provide helpful information on program requirements and tips on writing a competitive application.
The Zoom link below provides access to the training, no registration is required. The training will be recorded and posted to the Trail Stewardship Webpage for those who cannot attend.
