The City of Livingston Recreation Department is seeking a hands-on Facility Operations Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations, safety, maintenance coordination, and overall upkeep of the City’s 43,500-square-foot community recreation and wellness center.
The facility includes a six-lane lap pool, recreation pool, gymnasium, fitness center, meeting rooms, locker rooms, and associated support spaces.
This position involves advanced supervisory, administrative, and hands-on maintenance work to ensure the building, grounds, equipment, and operational systems are safe, clean, efficient, and ready for programs, rentals, and public use.
The Facility Operations Supervisor performs facility maintenance and repairs while overseeing maintenance planning, scheduling, documentation, and the supervision of facility maintenance employees. This position also coordinates closely with aquatics, recreation, youth development, membership, contractors, vendors, and other City staff.
Work is performed under the general supervision of the Gateway Wellness Center Manager.
