The City of Missoula Parks and Recreation Department is looking for enthusiastic, organized individuals to join us as a Temporary Recreation Assistant. This role offers a unique opportunity to support a wide variety of recreational programs, events, and services that directly benefit our community. Whether you’re helping coordinate a soccer league, setting up for a festival, or ensuring facilities are safe and welcoming, your work will make a real impact—right here in Missoula.

As a temporary team member, you’ll gain valuable hands-on experience in a fast-paced, people-first environment. You’ll work closely with our dedicated staff, help lead programs, mentor seasonal employees, and make sure our parks and events run smoothly. From athletics and logistics to customer service and facility support, this role offers variety and real-world learning.
