Call for Awards Nominations & Scholarship Applications

MTRPA presents awards at our annual conference to recognize individuals, organizations and agencies for significant contributions to the parks and recreation profession. Is there someone in your organization who should be recognized? Nominate them today! Award categories include:
– New Professional Award – Recognizing an individual who is relatively new to the profession who has exhibited innovation and ambition while helping to advance the goals of MTRPA.
– Professional of the Year Award – Recognizing an individual who continues to provide leadership and make contributions to the profession and furthering the goals of MTRPA.
– Media Excellence – Recognizing efforts that contribute to the general public’s understanding and greater awareness of parks, recreation and conservation programs.
– Citation of Merit – Community and Political Advocate, Outstanding volunteer services, Research and Academic Studies, Program Innovation.

Call for Scholarship Applications
Submission Deadline: Wednesday 3/15
The Montana Trails, Recreation and Park Association annually awards donated scholarships to a Montana college student at an accredited University or College with a declared major in Recreation, Park, Resource or related field. Dr. Joel Meier Scholarship recipient will be awarded $2000. MTRPA 2023 Scholarships will be presented at our annual conference in April.
